Nationwide Title Clearing to Participate in Relay for Life
American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Palm Harbor, FL
July 28, 2010 —Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC), a leading post closing services provider for the residential mortgage industry, announces its participation in the American Cancer Society’s 2010 Relay for Life of Palm Harbor on August 13-14. Nationwide Title Clearing a Palm Harbor, Fla.-based company organized and named its team, in the spirit of the event, the Disco Dolls for a Cure, captained by Erika Lance. The team is comprised of 18 NTC employees who are participating in the hopes of finding a cure for the disease --and they are devoted to make that happen.
“We are excited to chip in and take our stand to ending this terrible disease,” said Lance, a Senior Vice President at Nationwide Title Clearing. “We’ve all experienced the devastation cancer brings by touching just one life, and we are dedicated to making a difference.”
The event will be held at Wall Springs Park in Palm Harbor and begins at 6:00pm on August 13th. NTC is encouraging other area businesses and community residents to take part in the event by being there to join in on the activities to raise funds or by setting up a team and participating in the relay. Relay for Life is an overnight, 18-hour event dedicated to raising funds to save lives from cancer, as well as to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer and remember loved ones lost and fight back against a disease that takes too much.
