Tampa Bay Company Supports Children’s Arts Exposure and Business Network Through CSR: NTC Volunteers at 40th Annual Harbor Art and Seafood Festival

Continuing with the company's mission of corporate social responsibility, volunteers from NTC helped ensure that the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce 40th Annual Harbor Art and Seafood Festival was a success.

(Palm Harbor, FL) January 30, 2015 – In a study conducted by the University of California, researchers found students with high arts involvement performed better on standardized achievement tests than students with low arts involvement. This indicates that what students learn in the arts may help them master other subjects such as reading, math, or social studies (1). In response to the reported benefits of art on a child’s overall academic success, as well as part of a continued corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort, Palm Harbor-based NTC (Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc.) NTC volunteered at the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce 20th Annual Harbor Art and Seafood Festival. On December 6 and 7, 2014, NTC staff put in a total of 24 volunteer hours during the two-day event by providing art related activities for children through the children’s art tent.

Giving Back to Tampa Bay: NTC Holds Toys for Tots Drive for Fourth Consecutive Year, Focuses on Providing Less-Affordable Gifts

Working with local sponsors and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, NTC continues its tradition of purchasing and collecting new toys for the Tampa Bay Area’s underprivileged children and families.

(Palm Harbor, FL) January 26, 2015—During the recent holiday season, employees of Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc. (NTC), a leading research and document processing provider for the mortgage and financial industry, again purchased, collected and helped to distribute new toys in the annual Toys for Tots campaign. While NTC’s clients in the real estate industry are located across the country, NTC officials have deemed it a part of the company’s culture to not only acknowledge but to also demonstrate its support for the Tampa Bay Area.
