NTC celebrates company growth by earning number 2,097 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies.
NTC (Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc.), a leading research and document-processing provider for the mortgage and financial industry, made the Inc. 5000 list at number 2,097 for the third consecutive year, prompting NTC officials to state that the recognition validates the company’s business practices put in place to cement a positive impact on both the local and national economies. Inc. magazine unveiled its annual list of the fastest-growing companies in America on August 20, 2014.
Despite the slow recovery of the U.S. economy, NTC has managed to maintain company growth and officially satisfied the specific criteria companies must meet in order to be eligible for the Inc. 5000 list, including generating at least $100,000 in revenue in 2010 and at least $2 million in revenue in 2013.
NTC, perhaps best known for its expertise in extensive research and document-processing services such as lien release processing, is an advocate for best practices that standardize the mortgage industry for the betterment of homeowners, land records and the industry at large. This has been the key factor in NTC’s growth during the aftermath of the Great Recession. NTC has also been pivotal in leading the standardization of education in their industry on key issues such as notarial law best practices, property reports and risk management. NTC’s commitment has put them on the radar of government officials for their extensive employee continuing education programs. The training’s main focus helps to ensure that their clients (which include eight of the 10 largest residential mortgage lenders and servicers in the U.S.) are able to remain in compliance and thereby safeguard the nation’s property records and ultimately protect homeowners.
According to NTC CEO John Hillman, NTC’s continued success can be largely attributed to the initiative and drive of its employee workforce, which is comprised of over 300 Pinellas County residents.
“Being recognized among other nationally-ranked companies on the [Inc. 5000] list is an accomplishment that our executives, along with every employee, have worked diligently for,” said Hillman. “We’ve strived over the years to perfect our business practices, and this award is an honor and a testament to our hard work.”
According to Eric Schurenberg, President and Editor-in-Chief of Inc., NTC’s achievement is a real success, as “only a tiny fraction of the nation’s companies have demonstrated such remarkably consistent high growth, particularly in the difficult economic environment of the past few years.”
The Inc. list debuted in 1981, and companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Clif Bar, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Zipcar and Oracle gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500. Through each evolution, Inc. has sought to recognize and celebrate the creativity, dedication and hard work that entrepreneurs put into building their companies.
As part of the Inc. 5000 list, NTC has been invited to attend the exclusive 2014 Annual Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, which is a three-day event which brings the nation’s brightest, most successful business minds together. The event will be held October 15-17, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. NTC representatives are looking forward to attending.
