Title Policy Retrieval Services Include:
- Clients send NTC the title policy number and the name address and phone number of the original title company.
- NTC will make a set series of attempts to retrieve the Title Policy from the Title Company, including sending several written requests and phone calls.
- After several attempts through phone and mail, NTC will issue a written request addressed to the Manager of the Title Company stating that we will inform our client that they are unresponsive to our requests.
- If still unresponsive, NTC will issue a final written request to the Manager of the Title Company and escalate to the Title Policy underwriter, as applicable, indicating the number of requests that have been made thus far and a final demand that the requested information be furnished.
- All title policies received are imaged, entered into system and forwarded to the client as instructed.
- Throughout the entire process, to ensure the highest level of accuracy in retrieval, clients send NTC a list of outstanding title policies and NTC will reconcile this list to retrieval attempts.

- Clients are given access to a secure website to have the ability throughout the entire process to view images of retrieved documents, status updates and ability to run management and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports.
